Shoes
The brides shoes should depend on her dress
and personal style.
Some brides have been known to spend $50 - $100
on shoes. This is a bit too much for an accessory that many of
your guests will not even notice. Have you ever seen what the
brides shoes look like? In some cases the answer will be
yes but, for most of us we have never noticed.
If you wear a large ball gown you could go with
just about any style of shoe that will be comfortable. A lot of
brides have purchased white tennis shoes and added white lace
for the shoelaces. With the amount of time the bride will spend
on her feet, this is a great option.
If you purchased a dress that will show your feet
throughout the day, you should consider a chunky heeled shoe (usually
a sandal style). The chunky heel will avoid the back and foot
pain that is brought on by a normal heeled shoe.
If you have decided on a country theme, or if
your country at heart, a pair of white cowboy boots could be worn.
This works weather or not your feet are visible to others.
Another option that has grown in popularity over
the years is a pair of satin slippers. This allows the bride to
remain comfortable throughout the day.
