Wedding Transport - Save Money

Your transportation is not an item that you should pay particular detail too, as long as the vehicle can ensure you and your bridal party will arrive to each location on time. The transportation can cost you $600 - $800. For this reason it is necessary to consider ways to keep the cost to a minimum.

Time - most limo companies require a minimum of a four (4) hour rental. Purchasing extra time is not necessary, unless your ceremony, photo and reception location is a long distance between each other.

Space - when you choose the style of transportation, keep in mind the number of people that will ride with you. The larger the vehicle, the more money they will cost. However, you want everyone to ride comfortably. If you are planning to have 10 guests in the limo, rent a vehicle to accommodate 12 - 15 people.

Distance - try to choose a reception location that also has a garden area and a gazebo for you to exchange your vows. Doing this will eliminate the need to be transported from one location to another and therefore you can skip the limo all together.

DIY - if you or a member of your wedding party owns a mini-van or some other form of transportation that can accommodate a large number of people, this can also be an option.

Date - deciding on a Friday or Sunday wedding can save you $100 - $200.
