Wedding Flowers - Save Money
Silk, Silk, Silk!
I cant stress enough how much money you can save by having
silk bouquets and arrangements at your wedding. The beauty is
still there and so is the money in your wallet! Spray the flowers
with a rose scent (found at Wal-Mart or Auto Zone) for a fresh
smell and add some ribbon, your guests will never know the difference
and your bridesmaids will thank you for not making them carry
a heavy bouquet through hours of formalities.
Buy Wholesale
You would be surprised at the amount of money you can save on
a pre-made bouquet from any wholesale dealer. Some places require
a business license to make any type of purchase, but with mom
and pop shops exploding throughout America nowadays, chances
are you know someone. J I was in a business only wholesale store
the other day that was just recently opened to the public, and
found a toss bouquet for $3.00 and a cascading white rose bridal
bouquet for $20.00! You cant beat that price!!!
Vintage
Chances are your grandparents and parents either did not have
a large wedding or the hype of silk flowers did not reach them
yet. But, if you are lucky enough to find someone in your family
who had a silk flower arrangement that they kept for all these
years, honor them by asking to borrow it for your wedding. Mothers
and grandmothers are especially touched by this sentiment!
DIY
As explained on a previous page, you can save hundreds by making
your own floral arrangements, big and small. Weather, you decide
to use silk flowers, or the real thing, you can still save big!
If your crafty or know someone in your family or circle of friends
that has a good eye, get down to it and bring that personal touch
that no florist can, to YOUR wedding.
