Bridal Attire - Save Money

This section is designed to help you save money on your wedding attire, while keeping your elegance and beauty.

The Dress
Consider purchasing your dress from a bridal outlet store or consignment shop. When a bridal boutique goes out of business they will sell the unsold merchandise to these shops. Also, brides that have purchased one too many dresses or have called off the wedding also sell their unused dresses. Because of the discount price these shops purchase the dresses for, you are able to buy your bridal gown for about half the price of a bridal boutique.
TIP-Watch for special sales; such as DavidsBridal.com's $99 Dress Sales.

The Tuxedo
Almost every knows, if you rent all the groomsman tuxedos from a tuxedo shop, the grooms’ tux is FREE! And since the male attendants are responsible for renting their own tuxedos, you don’t have to spend anything.

The Parents
Instead of purchasing a dress especially for your wedding, ask them to wear a formal dress from their closet. Nobody will notice that they didn’t spend $100 on a new dress.

The Bridesmaids
As previously stated, the best place to purchase their dresses is at a department store. Even better, if you plan to have a spring or summer wedding, have your bridesmaids purchase their dresses at the beginning of fall. All the summer dresses will be on clearance to make room for the formal winter dresses. Reverse the theory if you plan to have a winter or fall wedding.

Shoes
If you and a married friend share the same shoe size, ask if you could wear the same shoes she did when she tied the knot.
