Wedding Decorations - Centerpieces

The centerpieces are an item that acts as a conversation piece for your guests during dinner. Most of the time they also become a gift as the guests will take one home with them. The number of options for choosing your centerpiece is in the hundreds. These are just a few ideas that are popular with most crowds. Even if you don’t use one them directly, we hope this can at least spark a few ideas.

Small floral arrangements-Purchase an attractive arrangement to match your wedding colors and decor. Add ribbon or tulle for a personal touch.

Bouquets-Purchase a small bouquet stand and place the bridesmaids’ bouquets inside them at your guest tables.

Candles-Candles add romance and elegance to any reception. Try arranging several candles, of varying heights, on top of a mirror for a soft lighting effect.

Balloons-They create a festive atmosphere and can be used in a number of arrangements. Talk to a store that specializes in decorations, for ideas.

Fresh Food-Decorate a basket, to suite your own taste, and fill with fruit.

Floating Candles-Place them in a large bowl filled with water that sits atop a mirror. (Add food coloring for an added effect) Place baby’s breath, ivy and/or just a few silk flowers around the base.

If you have rented a hotel ballroom, party center or banquet hall be sure to check with them regarding the centerpieces. Most of the time, they are included in the price and even if you decide to make or purchase your own, there will not be a discount.
